FAQ
The stuff everyone asks.
How much does a man and van cost in London? +
Most London jobs land between £150 and £400, depending on how much you've got and how far it's going. Send a few photos and you'll get a clear price up front — no guessing, no hidden extras.
Are you insured? +
Yes. We carry goods-in-transit and public liability cover, so your things are protected from the moment they’re on the van to the moment they’re in your new place.
Is there a minimum charge? +
There's a 2-hour minimum on every job — that's the London norm. Your quote always shows the full price before you book, so there are no surprises.
Do you do man with a van hire by the hour? +
Yes — that’s exactly what we are. It’s £50/hr for a driver-only van or £75/hr with two of us, with a 2-hour minimum, and fuel and mileage are included. Send a few photos and you’ll see the full price before you book.
Does the price include fuel and mileage? +
It does. The price you’re quoted covers diesel and mileage. The only extras are things like the central London congestion charge, and we tell you about those up front.
What if it takes longer than expected? +
We'll always give you a realistic estimate from your photos. If a job runs over because of access or extra items, we'll flag it on the day before any extra time — never spring it on you at the end.
Can you do same-day or weekends? +
Often, yes — we work Monday to Saturday and can usually fit in short-notice jobs. Send your photos and tell us the date you’re after and we’ll let you know straight away.
How do I get a price? +
Snap a few photos of what's moving, tell us where it's going, and send them over. You'll get a clear price back in minutes — no site visit needed.
Do you cover my area? +
We cover all of London, north to south and east to west, plus plenty outside the M25. If you’re not sure, just ask — we’ll tell you straight.
