Covered end to end

Goods-in-transit and public liability insurance from our van to your new place.

How much does a home removal cost in London?

Most London moves land between £150 and £400, depending on how much you’ve got and how far it’s going — we charge from £50/hr with a 2-hour minimum. Three things move the price: the amount of stuff, the floors and lifts at both ends, and the distance. The only extras are things like the central London congestion charge, and we flag those up front.

You don’t need to guess any of it. Send a few photos and you’ll get the exact price for your move before you book — wherever you are in London, the number you see is the number you pay.

How to get ready for moving day

  1. Send your photos early. The more we can see, the sharper your price and the better we plan the van and the crew.
  2. Box up the small stuff and label by room. “Kitchen”, “bedroom”, “garage” — it makes the unload twice as quick.
  3. Empty wardrobes and drawers, defrost the freezer. Lighter is safer for your furniture and our backs — do the freezer the night before.
  4. Sort the parking at both ends. If your street needs a permit or has restrictions, check with the council before the day — and tell us the floor and lift situation so we plan it right.
  5. Keep an essentials bag out. Kettle, chargers, keys, kids’ stuff — the things you’ll want before the boxes open.
FAQ

Home removals questions, sorted.

How long does a home removal take? +
A one-bed is usually done in a morning; a bigger family home can take most of the day. You’ll get a realistic estimate from your photos — and if anything changes on the day, we flag it before any extra time, never after.
Do I need to empty wardrobes and drawers? +
Yes please — furniture travels lighter and safer empty, and it protects the joints and runners. Boxes are much easier to carry than a full chest of drawers.
Are my things insured during the move? +
Yes. We carry goods-in-transit and public liability cover, so your things are protected from the moment they’re on the van to the moment they’re in your new place.
Can you move me at the weekend? +
We work Monday to Saturday and can often fit short-notice dates in. Send your photos, tell us the date you’re after, and we’ll let you know straight away.
